#What is Deplao?

Deplao is desktop software for managing multiple Zalo, Facebook and Telegram accounts on your computer: chat, friends, groups, CRM, campaigns, workflows, sales integrations and an AI Assistant in one interface. See Introducing Deplao.

#Does Deplao cost anything?

No. Every feature is free. Your data, photos and videos are stored on your own computer, so Deplao charges nothing and doesn't limit any features. Deplao is also open source (MIT license).

Third-party services you choose to connect charge according to their own pricing: for example AI providers (except free models), Cloudflare R2 beyond its free tier, or a Google One plan if you go over 15 GB. See AI Assistant and Internet & Cloud.

#Which operating systems does Deplao run on?

Windows (10 / 11, 64-bit), macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux / Ubuntu (.AppImage or .deb). The installer is about 150 MB; while running, Deplao uses about 500 MB of RAM (your computer should have at least 4 GB of RAM, 8 GB or more recommended). See Download & install.

#Windows / macOS shows a warning when I open the installer. What should I do?

The Deplao installer isn't code-signed yet, so you may see a warning the first time you open it:

• Windows ("Windows protected your PC"): choose More info → Run anyway.
• macOS: right-click the file → Open (or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).
• Linux: make the .AppImage file executable with chmod +x; if you get a FUSE error, install libfuse2.

#Accounts & messages

#Can I use it alongside Zalo PC / Zalo on my phone?

Yes. Zalo allows each account to be signed in on 1 phone, 1 computer (Zalo PC) and 1 browser (Zalo Web) at the same time. Deplao uses Zalo's Web platform, so Zalo PC and Zalo on your phone keep working as usual. Once you've signed in to Deplao, just don't also sign in to Zalo Web (chat.zalo.me) with the same account. #Will my account get locked if I use Deplao?

Deplao connects using each platform's own protocol (Zalo, Facebook, Telegram). To stay within the platforms' policies, avoid sending spam continuously. Deplao has built-in spacing (delays) to reduce the risk:

• Campaigns wait a random interval of at least 30 seconds between contacts, with a daily limit and a quota of 60 actions per hour per account.
• Zalo message nodes in workflows queue per account and wait a random interval between sends.
• Facebook history sync paces itself like a real user and stops automatically when Facebook shows signs of restriction.

The more actions, the longer the content and the shorter the delay, the more likely you are to be flagged as spam. For Facebook, use a secondary account for data scanning. See CRM & customer care and Workflow automation.

#Can I see old messages from before I signed in to Deplao?

Yes, each channel in its own way: Zalo syncs from your phone for a period you choose; Facebook downloads Messenger history for a period you choose (with a checkpoint risk, only download when you really need it); personal Telegram loads more as you scroll up. Telegram bots can't reload old history. See Syncing old messages.

#Can I make or answer calls in Deplao?

Not yet. Zalo and Messenger calls aren't supported. For Telegram, Deplao only shows the call log and alerts you to incoming calls: answer on your phone or in Telegram Desktop.

#Data & security

#Is my data safe?

Your data is stored directly on your computer, with no intermediary server: the app connects straight from your machine to Zalo, Facebook and Telegram. Deplao doesn't collect or share your login cookies, message content or contacts. The app never stores your Zalo, Facebook or Telegram passwords: it only keeps the login sessions on your computer, encrypted with your operating system's security mechanism. The cloud, the Public API and employee connections are all optional and only work once you turn them on. See Security & data.

#Where is my data stored? What if drive C fills up?

By default in the app's data folder (Windows: %AppData%\Deplao), which can grow to several GB or even tens of GB within a few months. Move it to another drive with Settings → Storage → Choose another folder (Cài đặt → Lưu trữ → Chọn thư mục khác): the data is copied over and takes effect immediately. To reduce disk usage, turn on Auto-delete media (Tự động xoá media) for each account, or store media on Cloudflare R2 / Google Drive. See Security & data.

#Will I lose my data if I change computers or reinstall Windows?

Reinstalling Windows wipes the data on drive C, so it's best to keep the data folder on another drive. To move to a new computer, turn on Data sync (Đồng bộ dữ liệu; under Settings → Internet & Cloud (Cài đặt → Internet & Đám mây)) to your own Cloudflare R2 or Google Drive; on the new machine, click Restore data from the cloud (Khôi phục dữ liệu từ đám mây), enter your backup password, then sign back in to your channels. #Teams & extending

#Can several employees or computers share the same accounts?

Yes. Deplao has a team / workspace model with clear permissions: the Boss machine signs in to the accounts and holds the data; employees install Deplao on their own computers, sign in with an account the Boss gives them, and only see the modules and accounts assigned to them. #Can remote employees (on a different network) connect?

Yes. On the same local network, employees connect over LAN using the Boss machine's IP:port. Remotely, the Boss turns on an Internet address in Settings → Internet & Cloud → Internet address (Cài đặt → Internet & Đám mây → Địa chỉ Internet): no router port forwarding, static IP or VPS needed. Use Cloudflare automatic (Cloudflare tự động; the Free plan is enough) for a fixed address; the temporary address changes every time you restart.

#Do I need to keep my computer running 24/7?

If you use workflows or campaigns, or employees connect to the Boss machine, keep the computer and the app running 24/7 with a stable Internet connection. The × button on the title bar only hides the app in the system tray (it keeps receiving messages and running workflows); to quit completely, right-click the Deplao icon in the system tray → Quit completely (Thoát hoàn toàn).

#Can I connect Deplao to my website or other software?

Yes. Deplao has Public API v1 with nearly 300 operations, real-time events and signed webhooks; the API runs right on the computer where Deplao is installed and is off until you turn it on. You can also install or build apps (plugins) that run inside Deplao. See Apps, API & Webhooks and the Developer docs.
